Echo Fox sign Imaqtpie, Scarra, Dyrus, Voyboy, Shiphtur to new challenger roster

Echo Fox will field Michael "Imaqtpie" Santana, Marcus "Dyrus" Hill, William "scarra" Li, Joedat "Voyboy" Esfahani and Danny "Shiphtur" Le on their challenger series roster, according to a report from Dot Esports. Though there has yet to be a formal announcement from Echo Fox, a spokesperson from that organization has confirmed the news to theScore esports.

The former members of Delta Fox, the organization's Challenger Series roster, have been moved to the main roster, per Riot's Esports League-Recognized Contract Database. The team's five new players do not yet appear in the database.

The resulting team, composed of former LCS pros turned streamers, is a goliath of viewer reach on Twitch. By total channel views, Imaqtpie is the most popular individual streamer on the streaming service, while Dyrus is not far behind.

The news comes after Riot Games announced their plans for franchising in the NA LCS. The announced profit sharing plans for teams includes incentives for placement and for “contribution to viewership/fan engagement.”
