It is designed like a favourite location from the long-running animated TV collection, and it opened Friday in Myrtle Seashore, South Carolina. Different objects on the market embody memorabilia related to Bart Simpson, his dad and mom, Homer and Marge, sisters Lisa and Maggie and the remainder of the globally identified characters from the city of Springfield.
“The Simpsons” is understood for its many catchphrases, together with one from Apu that’s painted on a wall inside the shop:
“Thanks, come once more!” it says.
Mark Cornell, of SimEx-Iwerks Leisure, one of many builders, mentioned the primary guests included three generations of a household, all arguing playfully about who was the larger “Simpsons” fan.
The shop is subsequent door to a “Simpsons”-themed Aztec Theater anticipated to open later this yr.
