Followers of “The Simpsons” now can now travel to slurp a Squishee, munch a Warmth Lamp Sizzling Canine and gulp Lard Lad Donuts — Mmm, donuts! — on the world’s first everlasting real-life Kwik-E-Mart retailer.

It is designed like a favourite location from the long-running animated TV collection, and it opened Friday in Myrtle Seashore, South Carolina. Different objects on the market embody memorabilia related to Bart Simpson, his dad and mom, Homer and Marge, sisters Lisa and Maggie and the remainder of the globally identified characters from the city of Springfield.

These embody Apu, proprietor of the present’s comfort retailer, Kwik-E-Mart, who’s of Indian descent. The present obtained criticism not too long ago from viewers troubled by the stereotypical characterization, like Apu’s accent offered by actor Hank Azaria.
